Dear Friend –

I love the way King David spoke to his son, Solomon: “Be strong, be of good courage, AND DO IT!” I Chronicles 28:20a KJV

In Solomon’s case, his father David was charging him to build the great temple. The task was daunting and David speaks to strengthen his son.

David not only tells Solomon to be courageous and to act, he says why: “Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you.“  I Chronicles 28:20b

In your case and mine, there are many tasks the Lord sets before us that appear difficult and formidable.

Ours is the God who never ever withdraws his love. “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

The Lord is with you and will not fail you.

So, in whatever challenge, whatever task is facing you… be strong, be of good courage, AND DO IT, whatever “it” is!
