A Podcast About Encouragement
Building One Another
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. I Thessalonians 5:11
Buck Up Little Camper!
Dear Friend
There is a lot of coping going on these days. Parents coping with their children’s education, often while working themselves. Teachers coping with both online and in-person classes. Business people coping with pandemic guidelines and on and on.
A lot of that coping is irritating and exhausting while some of it is debilitating and devasting.
If you feel like quitting when you are exhausted or frustrated, Scripture speaks:
"Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who have an anxious heart, 'Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God… will come and save you.'" Isaiah 35:3 ESV
“Therefore, lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees.” Hebrews 12:12
The English idiom puts it simply, “Buck up little camper!”
If you know someone who is feeling like dropping out, Scripture also speaks:
“Your words have put people on their feet! “Job 4:4
“Encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” I Thessalonians 5:14

Scripture from the ESV
Are there things you want to avoid doing because you are tired of them or find them exhausting or boring? What is our good Lord saying to you about that?
If you know people who are at the end of their rope, what words may you offer to encourage them - especially knowing that your words can put them on their feet!
