Edward Bosworth, Professor of New Testament at Oberlin College, penned those words in his Christ in Everyday Life (1910 YMCA).

What does get your attention? Think about the list of the attention-getters in your life.

Health?

Relationships?

Finances?

Work?

International uncertainty?

Jesus, said, "My sheep hear to my voice, and I know them and they follow me." John 10:27*

Is Jesus Christ on your list of attention-getters? “My sheep listen to myvoice.”

Is Jesus the primary Voice in your life? Do you yield yourself to other voices?

Listen to Jesus, center your mind on him, give your attention to his Word. Follow him and rejoice in this: he knows you.

Whoever or whatever wins your mind wins you.

May that be Jesus Christ!
